Clwb Rygbi Nant Conwy – Bar Manager – Job Description

We are searching for a committed and proactive Bar Manager who would enjoy working in an exciting and friendly environment at Clwb Rygbi Nant Conwy, nr Trefriw, Llanrwst.

Responsibilities
Manage the business aspects of the bar, stock taking and reordering supplies.
Cellar management.
Taking and coordinating clubhouse bookings.
Managing staff and organising volunteer and paid staff rotas on a weekly basis.
Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.
Planning and managing the bar and clubhouse for rugby matches and training, events, social evenings and external events.
Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for customers.
Work alongside the Designated Premises Supervisor to ensure compliance with all licencing laws and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
Experience preferred but not essential.
Excellent customer service skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.
Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximise resources.
Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items.

Other information

Pay £14 per hour.

Workplace pension scheme.

A DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) will be needed through the club.
