A five minute spell early in the first half of this encounter, saw Nant score three tries, together with two conversions, to give themselves a commanding 19 - 0 lead from which they would not look back. Although Llangefni did score two tries, each was countered by Nant to give a half-time scoreline of 12 - 29.

The second half produced a further eight tries, all from Nant. With five more conversions Nant ran out winners by 12 - 79.

It was a match in which Nant's all-round play, especially from the back row, dominated the opposition.

It was eight minutes into the match before the first foray into either teams 22, when Ifan Williams was held up over the line. From the dropout, the ball was run back and Sion Williams received the scoring pass to go over in the right-hand corner. From the restart Ifan Williams was fed the ball on the left wing. His powerful run was halted but the quick hands along the backs sent the ball to the opposite wing for Cain Jones to cross and touch down behind the posts. Caron Davies's conversion gave Nant a 12 - 0 lead.

From the next restart the ball was passed to Sam Hughes. His run through the middle from Nant's 22 to the opposition 10 metre line opened the space for Caron Davies to take the pass for the third touch down.

The next restart, however, saw Nant pinned back in their own 22 metre area. A series of scrums ensued, resulting in Emyr Jones going over for Llangefni's first try. Nant restored the 19 point gap within 5 minutes when the ball was again moved quickly to Cain Jones to squeeze in at the corner for his second try. The teams got a further try each, Llangefni's coming following some uncharacteristic loose passing from Nant, Emyr Jones getting his second. On the stroke of half-time, Siencyn Metcalfe crashed over to give a scoreline of 12 - 29.

The second half was a much more one-sided affair with tries being scored on a regular basis. A mazy run by Rhydian Jones opened the space up for Cai Jones to touch down. Rhydian Jones then got on the scoresheet soon followed by  Cain Jones for his hat-trick when the centres combined to give him the space to out-sprint the opposition.

Following a turnover at a lineout Aron Williams chipped the ball perfectly over the cover defence for Tomos Williams to gather and touch down.

With gaps appearing in the defence, Gwion Jones scored Nant's tenth try following a lineout in Llangefi's 22. Cain Jones got his fourth of the match, again out-pacing the cover to go over in the left corner. 

Siencyn Metcalfe got his second touching down to make it 12 - 75. The last move of the match saw Carwyn Davies squeeze in on the right corner following good handling by the backs.
